A network of local places
Warshin’s activity records describe planting in school grounds, neighbourhood green spaces and villages around Qamishli. The early accounts include activities in Tal Shair and Taalak, while later records describe continued community greening. These places form part of the association’s environmental work in Al-Hasakah Governorate.
Working alongside communities
Some campaigns involved other organizations, local institutions, residents and volunteers. The reports describe participation in joint activities as well as individual planting records. A campaign-wide total is not the same as Warshin’s direct contribution, so these figures are not combined into an association-wide planting claim.
Schools and village surroundings
The late-2022 records describe planting in three Al-Hilaliyeh schools and later activities in village surroundings. Schoolyard planting was linked to involving children in cultivation and caring for shrubs. Village and urban activities extend the documented work across places used by local communities.
