The cleaning campaign in the Mezkift Dam, which was carried out by our association on Thursday 04/14/2022, in cooperation with the Environment Authority in the Autonomous Administration, which participated with a group of volunteers and employees.
The two groups did not finish cleaning a quarter of the area due to the large amount of dirt and waste left there by citizens and those celebrating Newroz or those who took picnics later, unfortunately.

It is worth noting that the association carried out two previous cleaning campaigns in cooperation with the Autonomous Administration and its concerned institutions during this month. It distributed leaflets and called on citizens to cooperate in order to keep the Mazkaft Reserve and Park, east of Qamishli, clean. Mazkaft is a natural reserve and a lake for recreation and fishing, where citizens resort in the spring and summer.
