The association launched a new campaign to plant tree seedlings in several schools in the city of Qamishli on Sunday, 10/30/2022, under the slogan (Environment is Life).
The members of the association planted dozens of seedlings in the schools of Farhan Ali, Hussein Mustafa, and Mustafa Kolo, located in the Al-Hilalia neighborhood.
The campaign lasted a week in these schools, where pupils and young children attended during school hours. The aim of the campaign was to spread environmental awareness and the importance of trees and greenery among citizens and students. In addition to afforestation, which the region needs a lot in these circumstances and the difficult stage in the history of the region.
It is worth noting that the number of trees has decreased to a quarter and desertification is slowly taking over the area. And the conditions of domestic and wild animals have become very bad and require their review and protection, and the association will do what it has to do in this field.
